| Title: Lantean DowntimeAuthor: xakliaaeryn Rating: R (to be safe) Word Count: 1, 902 Disclaimer: I don't own any of the characters or premises, if I did, Torri would never have left Atlantis :-). I also don't own any of the songs I have used herein. They are simply songs I have a great appreciation of them! Spoilers: Post-season 2 is game. Recipient: naushika Comments: I'm sorry this is so late, I've had real trouble getting it together for this one :-/ I'm ashamed... Anyway, thanks to my lovely beta and cheerleader dreximgirl for her support and help with this. :-D There is actually a PG-13 ending I've done, but I'm afraid this one won out, I hope you enjoy! :-)
Summary: 'At some point, someone thought that what Atlantis really needed was a karaoke machine' ( Lantean Downtime (R) )

| Title: Little Threads Author: naushikaRating: R Spoilers: Up to and including The Long Goodbye. For: krisrussel, whose prompt was "John and Elizabeth wake up naked in bed next to each other and are sure they went to their respective rooms the night before. What happened?" A/N: I'm so very sorry this is late! I moved a thousand miles across the country partway through this, and then I've just let other things keep me distracted. Many apologies! ( Little Threads ) | |

| Title: Balancing Act Summary: They agreed that there was a line between their personal and professional lives, but they had been erasing that distinction from the very first moment they'd met. Pairings: John/Elizabeth Rating: PG Spoilers: quasi-Season 5 spoilers, if you squint very hard...No spoilers if you interpret this as an AU. Beta: The amazing bluewillowtree who deserves credit for her endless patience and advice Disclaimer: Other than being a fan, I have nothing to do with Stargate: Atlantis Recipient: xakliaaerynPrompts: "Fluffy/Angsty Baby!fic" and "Love is being stupid together." Author's Notes: My apologies for the late, late posting. In the past two months, I have moved across the country and started a new job, so life has been...a little chaotic. When I first started writing this, I was struck by how well the two prompts fit together, and this little tale is the end result. I hope you enjoy. ~*~*~*~*~ "The Marines are going to go nuts." | |

| Title: Jail BreakAuthor: havocthecatFandom: Stargate: Atlantis Pairing: John Sheppard/Elizabeth Weir Rating: PG Warnings: None Characters: Laura Cadman, Ronon Dex, Teyla Emmagan, John Sheppard, Elizabeth Weir Written For: aj for the 2009 round of the swficathon. Prompt: Elizabeth has to rescue John. I'd prefer action/adventure, but her bailing him out of a political quagmire is also cool beans. Extra bonus points if Cadman blows something up or sets something on fire. Please, no character bashing, and if one or more women have realistic chats, all the better. Mind you, I don't actually LIKE Rodney McKay, so if he is included, please keep his role minimal. Author's Notes: This story is set some time after Conversion, and references the events of Trinity (well, for Ronon and Teyla, at least). Thank you to lyssie and triciabyrne1978 for betareading! Summary: John had thought that knowledge of his little almost-turning-into-bug incident had been isolated to Atlantis. Unfortunately, when word spreads that you've been seen running out of an Iratus nest unharmed and looking half-Wraith, the consequences aren't likely to be consolation offerings of skin cream. Oops. | |

| Title: In This Strange World Author: vickysg1Summary: When Elizabeth loses everything she knew, she needs someone to lean on. Type/Pairings: angst, John/Elizabeth Main Characters: Elizabeth Weir, John Sheppard, Rodney McKay, Teyla Emmagan, Aiden Ford, Carson Beckett Rating: G Beta: csiangelDisclaimer: Not mine, I just borrow the characters for this fic. Author's note: Written for the swficathon for rushingwind. I got that prompt: "The timeline is somehow changed, and Elizabeth (pre-First Strike) finds herself in a universe, where the expedition destroyed Atlantis in the events during season 1's The Siege, and have never re-established contact with Earth. She seeks out John for comfort." Sorry for the delay, hon. And many thanks to my beta, csiangel. Here @ creation_corner | |

| Title: Matters for Interpretation Author: Melyanna Rating: PG13 Summary: At the height of the Second World War, translator Elizabeth Weir recruits a grounded pilot, John Sheppard, to join the secretive ULTRA project. Notes: Written for miera_c in the swficathon, who asked for a World War II AU. (The number of things in this story which I DID NOT MAKE UP for my own purposes but rather found while researching would amaze you.) Many thanks to auralan for giving me silly ideas, freifraufischer for answering silly questions, and sache8 for looking for silly mistakes. Part IPart IIPart III | |

| TITLE: Not So Complicated AUTHOR: Shane Vansen CATEGORY: Sheppard/Weir fluff, mild smut, mild humour SPOILERS: none, but sort of a post-S5 AU RATING: R (non-graphic sexual situations) LENGTH: ~1500 words SUMMARY: "Shouldn't be so complicated/ Just touch me and then/ Just touch me again" -- Bent, Matchbox20 DISCLAIMER: it's probably best that they're not mine; I'd screw it up. Then again, at least we'd still have Elizabeth. AUTHOR'S NOTES: This is based on peanutbutterer's other prompt for the swficathon: snark, jealous John, and gift giving. I didn't feel it was substantial enough to warrant being my entry for her, but hey, why waste an idea? Many thanks to vicki_james98 for betaing, and to heimedall, grav_ity, and trialia for offering to help with the title. Honestly, I think it took longer to decide on that than to write the fic itself. Atlantis stuff -- you understand | |
|
| TITLE: Cold in Stormy Weather AUTHOR: Shane Vansen CATEGORY: Sheppard/Weir friendship/UST, A/A, drama SPOILERS: none, but takes place between Coup d'Etat and Sunday, or in a magical timeline where Sunday and First Strike/Adrift/Lifeline never happened. RATING: PG LENGTH: ~5300 words SUMMARY: A potential new ally asks for Atlantis' help. Of course, things never go according to plan. DISCLAIMER: it's probably best that they're not mine; I'd screw it up. Then again, at least we'd still have Elizabeth. AUTHOR'S NOTES: For peanutbutterer, who requested "physical contact, an argument, and a Mudslide (drink or dirty outdoor adventure - your choice)" for the swficathon. Many, many thanks go to fantabulous betas vicki_james98 and anr, the latter of whom provided a good chunk of an important conversation and the title. And, y'know, spearheaded the whole ficathon in the first place. :D Remaining errors are entirely my own. Sometimes, he really hated when she got rational | |
|
| TITLE: Just A Little Late AUTHOR: anrSTATUS: Complete SUMMARY: He starts to wonder. RATING: PG FOR: lone_pyramid, who requested earthside, post s5 finale; five years after SGC refused to send any of the Atlantis people back to Pegasus, John has settled on the west coast for the "quiet life" -- then Elizabeth Weir comes knocking on his door; reasonably optimistic ending. Just A Little Late | |
|
| Title: On Your Wings (We Are Carried to the Sea) Author: Catherine ( hihoplastic) Rating: PG-13 (second part R) Spoilers: Through TMC, then AU. For: anr for the swficathon, who requested "5 times"-themed fic; escape to an alternate reality. I'm terribly sorry this is so late! I hope it's what you were looking for. Notes: Beta'd by the absolutely incredible antiqueskies. Title and lyrics from various songs by Iron & Wine.Summary: Five times John helps Elizabeth escape. Disclaimer: Not mine, just borrowing. On Your Wings (We Are Carried to the Sea) | |
|
| Title: Eudaimonia Summary: They were cut off from Earth (again) and on their own for everything, beginning with bare survival. The hope of getting Atlantis back was slim. John wasn't going to give up, and he knew Elizabeth wouldn't either, but in the short-term, they had to focus on more important matters. Pairings: Weir/Sheppard, Teyla/Carson Rating: NC-17 Warnings: mildly graphic sex, a little bad language Spoilers: Through mid-season 3. Beta: melyanna the awesome. Disclaimer: I do not own SGA or any of the characters. More's the pity. Author's Notes: Written for havocthecat for the swficathon. The prompt was: For the good of Atlantis, Elizabeth and John must marry. Or, at the very least, pretend to be married.. This was set during S3 and it's AU, hopefully that will be okay. The title comes from a term used in ancient Greek ethics: It is significant that synonyms for eudaimonia are living well and doing well. [...] to carry out the activities that constitute human living well over a whole lifetime, or long stretches of it, is living well or doing well. [...] While the unhappy person deals with a vital and dynamic emotion like fear in an inept way, the happy person handles fear skillfully, and thereby exhibits human excellence. -- from herePart 1 | |

| Title: Escape! By: Yunadax Rating: Spoilers: Pre Season 4. Pairings: John/Elizabeth. Disclaimer: They do - I don't. For: SWFicathon Recipiant & Prompt - Melyanna - Elizabeth has to rescue John, preferably in a non-typical fashion for her, meaning probably not with diplomacy. ( Read more... ) | |

| disclaimer: not mine rating: PG13; length: 2500 or so. spoilers: through season three. AU. pairing: Elizabeth Weir/John Sheppard beta reading: anr was a marvelous, fabulous person who was subjected to a fic I needed to finish. notes: written for hope_tang for the swficathon, who wanted an episode fix-it. | Title: Riding the Waves Author: cassievalentineRating: NC-17 Word Count: 16,933 Disclaimer: Not mine, don't sue. Spoilers: Up to Season 3's The Return Recipient: ankareeda who wanted "Hawaii. Surfing. Books. RST." Comments: The requests are all there. How actively they were used? Well, that's another story. Except for the RST. That is DEFINITELY in there. Beta'd by the bestest internet mommy ever! Summary: AU of The Return. Elizabeth invites John back to her place after diner, intending to offer him a respite from life at the SGC when things take a rather interesting turn. Thar be fic here! | |
|
| Title: Before and After Author: rushingwindRating: PG-13 Word Count: 11,970 Disclaimer: Not mine, don't sue. Spoilers: Up to Season 5's "Ghost in the Machine" Recipient: hihoplastic, who prompted me with a quote: "Love hinders death. Love is life. All, everything that I understand, I understand because I love." - Tolstoy, War and Peace. Comments: This is loosely based on a Star Trek episode of the same name (Leave it to my cracked brain to mix "War and Peace" with Star Trek). And thanks to the awesome anuna_81 for beta duty. Summary: Elizabeth finds herself traveling backwards through her life with no memory of how she started and no idea how to stop. ( I’m traveling backwards through time, and if you wouldn’t mind giving me a hand, I’d like to stop now. ) | |
|
| Title: Decompression Author: anuna_81Rating: NC–17 Spoilers: none, set during S1 Disclaimer: I don't own SGA. Beta reading: wanderingsmith did the initial beta reading, and the_scary_kitty helped me shape it up and tamed my grammar. fex_84 helped a lot, she is the best when it comes to fic and character discussions. Thank you ladies, you are awesomeness personified! Author's notes: written for grav_ity, for swficathon. Her request was “Decompression after ‘Hot Zone’, it could end in sex”. I can't be sure if this is what you wished for, but I loved your prompt and had lots of fun dealing with all the issues left after the episode and that interrupted fight at the end. | Assignments for the sheppard/weir ficathon v4 have now been posted. (Since I initially thought I wouldn't be able to send out assignments until the end of the week, this means we all get extra writing time! Yay!) You should have all received them in your inboxes by now. If you haven't, please let me know as soon as possible so I can try resending it. If you haven't already, I would appreciate a quick reply to the assignment email so that I know you've received it. You don't have to say much: just a brief "got it" would suffice. Also, if you think your assignment is impossible or unfair, don't hesitate to contact me and say so. We can always try and arrange something more suitable. A couple of quick reminders: Keep your assignment a secret. If you need clarification on a request, contact me and not your recipient.
If you cannot find a beta reader for your story, please contact me before the deadline and I will beta for you.
Do not post your story until the deadline week. The whole point of a ficathon is for all stories to be revealed together.
If you run into any problems at all, please contact me as soon as possible. And finally: have fun! *g*
